Hotel Bookings for Veterans: Mission 22 Partnership


CWTSatoTravel is excited to announce a new partnership in honor of the upcoming Veteran’s Day with Mission 22, an organization dedicated to raising awareness about veteran suicide, and offering treatments to those in need.


Every day, more than 20 veterans take their own lives.

Mission 22 seeks to find a solution for this through three major initiatives – public education about veteran suicide, creation of memorials and special events, and treatment programs for veterans in need. As September is National Suicide Awareness Month and Veteran’s Day is soon approaching in November, we are planning to raise $20,000 for Mission 22 throughout the month of October.


CWTSatoTravel is collaborating with our hotel partners to raise money toward our goal. For every hotel booking made through CWTSatoTravel under the DoD Preferred Commercial Lodging pilot rate (XVL), FedRooms rate (XVU) and CWTSatoTravel Hotel Program rate (SGV), CWTSatoTravel will donate $0.20 per consumed room night revenue to Mission 22.

In addition, our hotel partners Hilton, Choice and IHG have generously agreed to help us reach our goal. Hilton has made a one-time donation of $5,000, and Choice and IHG will match our donation of $0.20 per room night in our hotel programs for bookings associated with their brand.

We are also accepting employee donations through the campaign portal to show our company-wide appreciation for our veterans and help Mission 22 save lives!
