While service onboard airplanes had taken a hit during the pandemic, passengers are slowly seeing the return of nice meals and elevated service. Passengers flying on Delta Premium Select will now be able to enjoy an even better dining experience that will now offer more options infused with local flavors. Some of the options include things like braised short rib with fingerling potatoes and Dijon green peppercorn jus, impossible meatballs with polenta, pomodorini sauce and broccolini, honey harissa chicken thighs with jollof rice and stewed greens.
Starting in October, Delta will phase in new handmade amenity kits by Someone Somewhere featuring Grown Alchemist travel essentials and other premium that make the journey more enjoyable. Delta Premium Select is available on most flights to Europe, including flying on all U.S routes to Amsterdam and London.
